An optimal experienceGuidelines for Smooth Lessons

Prepare your stay with peace of mind

For the smooth running of the ESF and to ensure a successful stay, we kindly ask you to comply with the following rules:

Equipment for your child:
  • Equipment is not provided as part of our services. Please label all items with your child’s name.
  • Children must come to lessons equipped with skis, boots, and poles (from the 1ère Étoile level onwards).
  • Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended for all children’s lessons, and from the Étoile d’Or level upwards, both helmet and back protector are mandatory.
  • Please ensure your child is dressed warmly, with gloves, ski mask (or sunglasses), and tissues.
  • Don’t forget to give your child a small snack.
  • At the Children's Village, feel free to bring your child’s comfort toy to help them feel secure in this new environment.

For the smooth running of the ski lessons:
  • Arrive early at the meeting points indicated on your lesson card.
  • Bring your ski pass (not included in lesson prices).
  • You must carry your lesson card at every session, including private lessons. The electronically received e-card is not a valid lesson card.
  • Participation in a lesson does not exclude the need for a certain level of autonomy from the student.
  • The student must take personal responsibility for their own safety.

Important information:
  • Programmes and timetables may be modified during the season by ESF management.
  • The ESF accepts no responsibility for any accidents or injuries sustained by participants.
  • Instructors cannot be held responsible for weather conditions, ski lift breakdowns, or other incidents.
  • Lesson durations may be shortened due to circumstances beyond our control. No refunds will be issued (please refer to our general terms and conditions of sale).
  • In the event of low enrolment (fewer than 4 students), ESF reserves the right to group students by level or cancel the lesson (with a refund provided).

Insurance :
  • Participants are not insured by the ESF.
  • To avoid the risks and financial consequences of an accident, we strongly recommend purchasing Carré Neige insurance
