The Children’s Village is located near the Forum-Ice Rink in Courchevel 1850, just a few steps from the ski lifts.
From what age can my child attend the Children’s Village?
Our daycare is available for children from 18 months up to 3 years old. Depending on your preference, you may choose half-day or full-day care. A meal option is also available for easier organisation.
From 3 to 12 years old, your children can join the Children’s Village to take group ski lessons. From their first discoveries to achieving their premières étoiles, our programmes adapt to all levels for a successful experience.
Is a ski lesson included in the daycare service?
While many activities are offered in our ESF Children's Garden, no ski lessons are provided within our nursery service. However, older children enrolled in the Piou Piou Club will be escorted by our team to the meeting point for smooth coordination.
What equipment should I bring for my child at Courchevel 1850 daycare?
When you wish to have a child aged 18 months to 5 years cared for by our ESF team, it is essential to provide their health record. It’s also important to ensure they have comfortable and suitable clothing, including the essentials: ski suit, mittens, sunglasses, tissues, and sunscreen.
For a smooth introduction and a successful experience, we also recommend that you provide their favorite comfort item (such as a cuddly toy). This reassuring companion will help them settle in more easily within our nursery and make the most of their time at the Children’s Village.
How are meals provided at the esf daycare in Courchevel 1850?
All children have their meal together at the Children’s Village. Our team takes care of them from 12:00 to 2:00, offering a balanced and age-appropriate menu each day.
Once the meal is finished, the younger ones head to a dedicated room in our nursery to enjoy a well-deserved rest. Our instructors and animators remain present throughout their nap time.
Older children, on the other hand, can rest or play during the afternoon. Those who have an afternoon ski lesson will be escorted by our team to the meeting point.
What is the daily schedule at the Piou-Piou Club?
The daily schedule is designed to respect the children's natural rhythms. Outside of their learning sessions on the slopes, time is split between snack breaks, bathroom stops, games, and discovering the snow and mountain environment.
Will my child learn to ski at daycare?
The nursery activities do not include ski lessons. However, your child will have time to play in the snow, so be sure to equip them with a snowsuit, gloves, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
